BY PURCHASING ANY ITEMS FROM THE WEB SITE YOU ARE DECLARING THAT YOU ARE A QUALIFIED HAIRDRESSER, BEAUTICIAN, NAIL TECHNICIAN OR UNDER TRAINING BY QUALIFIED PERSONS AND THE SALE IS ON A "BUSINESS TO BUSINESS" BASIS.

ALL SALES ARE ON A "BUSINESS TO BUSINESS" BASIS AND FOR PROFESSIONAL HAIRDRESSERS AND BEAUTICIANS USE ONLY.

Salon Sales Ltd will not accept liability for injury or any damage resulting from the use or misuse of any product purchased from our website, or our cash and carry premises, whether that use be by trained or untrained personnel. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that you or your employer has insurance that covers the use of the products you are buying. We also reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and refuse the order if we believe you not to be a trade customer.

ACCESS TO THE TRADE REGISTERED SECTION OF THE SITE IS AVAILABLE TO SALON OWNERS WHO HAVE PREMISES LISTED IN "YELLOW PAGES" or "THOMPSONS LOCAL" AND WHO REGISTER CORRECTLY AND RECEIVE A PASSWORD FROM THE WEB SITE
We do not warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose and you should check specifications and suitability with manufacturers before ordering. Goods are NOT sold on a trial basis.

Returns Policy

Salon Sales Ltd is a trade-only website on which all sales are conducted on a business to business basis and are therefore not subject to the Distance Selling Regulations. Should Salon Sales Ltd accept an item for return, a handling and restocking fee may be charged on returned goods. Also, full delivery costs may be charged on returned items and as a guide, the restocking fee value will normally lie between 0 to 25 per cent of the item cost subject to the particular item concerned. In the rare event a manufacturer agrees to a return of an item they have made to order, their returns policy may have extra charges. Please phone for details.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. 

Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty and you have received prior authorisation by telephone with an authorised return code.

Beauty and hairdressing products that have been opened, or unsealed products, cannot be returned unless sent in error and prior to return an authorisation with our return code must be obtained.

Once obtained please package the relevant item securely in at least the packaging it was received and send it to us with the delivery slip showing our authorisation code so that we receive it within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you.

Other Terms

  • All items ordered must be paid for with payment card registered to a UK address or directly by bank transfer with our agreement.

  • For suitability of goods please contact the manufacturer.

  • Goods are offered subject to being unsold. In the event of non-availability of goods, we reserve the right to rescind the contract.

  • Prices and manufacturers specifications are subject to change without notice. Minor specification variations do not entitle the purchaser to rescind the contract.

  • Prices are based on orders collected from our premises.

  • In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed.

  • Signing for goods accepts the goods into your care, and that they have been received complete and in undamaged packaging. Always refuse damaged parcels.

  • Always refuse damaged or incomplete packages.

  • When receiving delivered item either sign 'unchecked' for visually perfect items or sign 'damaged' if there is a visual sign of parcel damage.

  • Please inspect delivered goods immediately. Claims for damaged goods must be notified within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Some carriers allow the customer the option of delivering to a neighbour. If this option is allowed and taken up, the customer does this at their own liability and risk.

  • If the delivery of goods cannot be made due to premises being closed or a signatory not available there may be a charge for redelivery. This will be the actual surcharge cost for redelivery. If the surchage is not paid and/or the goods are returned to us, any credit due will be less all actual costs incurred and up to an additional 25% handling / storage charge.

  • The cardholders name and address and delivery address should be the same for the 1st order.

  • We do not deliver to PO box numbers. 

  • The company policy is to dispatch goods within one working day of receiving your order, however this could vary subject to availability of stock. We will always do our best to deliver the goods in accordance with the delivery times advised but please note the delivery times are indicative only and we are not responsible for any delays. Neither Salon Sales Ltd or their designated carrier will accept claims for consequential loss due to late deliveries.

  • Late delivery does not entitle you to refuse or cancel the order. 

  • Cancelled orders will attract a 3% charge to cover banking and administrative costs incurred by Salon Sales Ltd in the initial processing. This will be deducted from any refund due.

  • Standard delivery and packaging charges are from £5.99 plus VAT for many parts of the U.K.

  • Orders delivered may have been subjected to a subsidised delivery and packing charge which does not reflect the true cost of delivery.

  • A surcharge may be applied for heavy or bulky items and also situations where above normal costs would be incurred due to the delivery location.

  • Delivery is usually by InterLink, APC Overnight, Royal Mail, Parcel Force but can be other delivery system of our choice.

  • Some items may be sent from different warehouses and there could be more than one delivery. This is more likely to occur when larger or heavier items are contained within a single order.

  • Most orders can be delivered in 1 to 2 working days but please allow 3 - 7 working days for delivery in the U.K. Some larger salon furniture items in are made to order and delivery can take longer than 7 days.

  • Non-standard (Made to order) items or special orders cannot be cancelled.

  • Cancellation after dispatch cannot be accepted.

  • Due to strict hygiene regulations Salon Sales cannot accept the return of scissors, clippers, razors that have been used or other items returned in an unacceptable condition.

  • A signature is required for all orders.

  • We reserve the right to choose any method of shipping.

  • The user will indemnify Salon Sales against all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees which may or may not arise out of the use of information of any kind contained within this website.

  • Whilst all reasonable endeavours have been made to check the accuracy of the information contained within this site, Salon Sales does not warrant the accuracy of the information contained herein. Further, Salon Sales or any other associated company or companies will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the information and material contained within this website or any other site which the user may access through this website. Further, Salon Sales or any associated company or companies will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising due to the users access to any other providers, operators, organisations or persons referred to directly or indirectly within this website. 
    Salon Sales or any other associated company or companies will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from any items purchased.

  • Any manufacturer's warranty is only valid when ordered goods are delivered and used solely within the UK.

  • Any price offer will be subject to our discretion and current stock availability. The value of any 'Salon Sales Price Offer' will take into account the competitors advertised price and their own delivery charges. If we deem a competitors online advertised price to be mispriced or does not reflect a realistic selling price in relationship to cost we may inform you that we could not better the offer.

  • If we provide an item discount via a voucher offer and surcharges are applied for a specific delivery, these extra costs would be required in full prior to delivery regardless of any ongoing offer. Only a single valid voucher code discount can be applied on an order. Vouchers may not be reuseable and may also be subject to other conditions of sale.

  • Please note that Salon Sales Ltd is not responsible for the content of any linked external internet site. Any external web links at the time of selection are there to assist our customers choice of purchase. Salon Sales Ltd is not responsible for the content of external websites.
